Terms of sale, license & refunds

Who you are buying from
KeySim is developed and published by SoftQuest. Orders are processed by our online reseller and
Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle handles the checkout, payment, applicable taxes (VAT / sales tax)
and the invoice or receipt you receive. Paddle's own Buyer Terms
apply to the purchase in addition to the terms below.
What you get
- A perpetual license for the edition you bought (Personal, Pro, or Business per seat). It never expires and does not require a subscription.
- One year of updates from the date of purchase. After that, KeySim keeps working; renewing the optional update plan extends access to newer releases.
- A license key by e-mail (and on the order confirmation page) within minutes of payment. Enter it in KeySim → Settings → License, or import a license file on a PC without internet access.
- Seats. Personal and Pro cover one person on the PCs they personally use; Business is sold per seat (one user per seat). A seat can be moved to another PC by deactivating it in the app.
Free trial
Every new installation includes a free trial (14 or 30 days, shown in the app) with every feature enabled and no card required. When the trial ends without a license, text expansion pauses; your shortkeys are kept.
Refund policy
Try KeySim free first — that is what the trial is for. If KeySim still does not work for you after purchase, e-mail
support@keysim.io with your order details within 30 days of purchase and we will
refund the order in full. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method; please allow a few business days for it to appear.
Refunded licenses are deactivated. Renewal payments for the update plan are refundable under the same 30-day window.
License terms (summary)
- You may install and use KeySim on any computer you personally use, within the seat count you bought.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or share a license key, and may not reverse engineer the licensing or circumvent the trial.
- KeySim is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.
